This door is made from durable, low maintenance, weatherproof plastic with a clear, weather resistant unbreakable Lexan frame. It installs easily and securely into any wall or door up to 1 inches thick and can hold cats up to 12 pounds. The four way lock feature allows me to control when access is granted in only, out only, opened or locked giving me complete peace of mind that my pet is safe while providing her plenty of freedom of movement.
The flap itself is 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 inches and has an inner telescoping frame which makes it easy for cats of all sizes to get through. It also has a draft seal which helps keep out the cold air during winter months for added energy efficiency.
In addition to its durability, this product is very easy to install and use the instructions are simple and straightforward.
