Altura Phone Tripod 55 Review

I recently had the chance to try out the Altura Photo Phone Tripod 55 and was impressed with its features. It is a 6 in 1 tripod that can be used for recording video, taking low angle photos, macro photography, and more. The tripod is constructed of lightweight aluminum with a rubber grip handle and a fluid monopod base encased in heavy duty non skid rubber. It also has five sections that extend from 10.5 inches to 46 inches and an easy twist ball head with a bubble level for 360 degree angles.

It can be used as a tripod for cell phones, telescoping monopod, mini tripod, GoPro stand, selfie stick, or as a mount for an LED light or flash. I personally was able to use it with my iPhone 6 and was able to get some great shots that I wouldnt have been able to get without it.

I took it on a recent trip and found that it was easy to carry around and set up whenever I needed it. Additionally, the twist lock with contoured knob makes it very easy to lock cameras in place when youre ready to take your shot.
