This camera was designed as an ideal solution for home security and surveillance needs. The camera is equipped with a CMOS 1/2.7 image sensor and 5MP resolution 2592x1944 , providing stunning low light performance. The built in mic allows for one way audio and the 103 viewing angle allows you to cover more ground. It also features a heavy duty weatherproof IP67 housing, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The night vision feature on this camera is excellent it has infrared LEDs that provide night vision up to 98 feet in complete darkness. I found the motion detection to be very reliable, and it was able to pick up on any movement in the area. The picture quality is also top notch I was able to clearly see every detail of my property during the day and night.
The Amcrest View app allows users to receive motion alert notifications and review footage from their smartphone. The Amcrest Surveillance Pro is also included for PC users and can be used with third party software such as Blue Iris. Additionally, you can use the Amcrest Cloud remote video storage, MicroSD Card up to 256GB , Amcrest NVRs, Synology and QNAP NAS, FTP, Edge, Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari.
