The mailbox is constructed of fully powder coated steel and ABS parts for longevity. It comes with a USPS approved MB1 mailbox, in ground post, hardware and installation instructions included. The fluted ABS mailbox mounting plate attaches to the post to provide an aesthetically pleasing design. The two part steel 53 inch in ground post has a heavy gauge steel connector for rigidity. It measures 6.9 inches wide by 8.7 inches high by 20.2 inches deep which fits most standard sized mailboxes.
Installation was easy as all of the necessary hardware was included and the instructions were clear and concise. I was able to put it together in under an hour with minimal effort required. I really liked that it came with a rear retrieval door and lock for added security which is not always included on mailboxes of this type.
