BOG DeathGrip UltraLite with Arca Swiss Review

I recently had the chance to try out a new product from BOG, the DeathGrip UltraLite with Arca Swiss. It s a shooting rest attachment that is incredibly lightweight and versatile. Having used quite a few different types of rests before, I was curious to see how this one compared.

The first thing that I noticed when I opened the package was how light it was. The UltraLite is made of magnesium, so it weighs only 1.4 pounds. This makes it perfect for spot or stalk hunting when you need to carry just about every ounce you can spare in your pack.

The second thing that stood out to me was how easy it was to use. All I had to do was snap the head on and clamp my gun into the rest until it was snug with the easy turn dial for a quick, shooting setup. And speaking of clamps, the dual jaw closure has non marring TPE padding which allows for a solid grip and hands free use for almost any firearm!

The next thing that impressed me about this product was its versatility. The Arca Swiss plate can be removed with the included Hex key to expose 1/4 20 and 3/8 16 threads that will accept almost any tripod or bipod and a Switcheroo stud is included for attaching to any BOG Switcheroo compatible product. This means you don t have to buy multiple pieces of equipment for different hunting situations you can just get one product that works for everything!

Overall, I am very pleased with my experience using the DeathGrip UltraLite with Arca Swiss from BOG. It is lightweight, easy to use and very versatile perfect for spot or stalk hunters who want something they can rely on out in the field. I would highly recommend this product!
