Barbie Chelsea Color Reveal Doll Review

I recently had the privilege of reviewing the Barbie Chelsea Color Reveal Doll. This doll is part of the Color Reveal series of dolls that feature original color reveal innovation. It comes with 6 surprises in one package, so I was excited to see what this product had to offer.

The first step in revealing the doll s look was to remove the outer layer of packaging and unscrew the top of the tube. Inside, I found a Chelsea doll partially covered in a metallic pink with a confetti print coating and 4 decorated bags that kept their contents hidden. To begin the reveal experience, I filled the tube with warm water and placed the doll inside. Swirling her around quickly turned the water into a metallic pink color for a magical effect! Once I removed her from the tube, she revealed her eye color, skin tone, decorated bodice, hairstyle and colorful glitter molded legs.

The four mystery bags held a skirt or pants in a party inspired print, a pair of shoes, a tiara or crown, and a balloon accessory. After playing, these can be stored back inside the tube for safekeeping. I also discovered that by using ice cold water to change the dolls hair color and warm water to change it back can create many different looks for even more fun!
