Canon RF 24 70mm F2.8 L IS USM Lens Review

I recently had the opportunity to review Canons RF 24 70mm F2.8 L IS USM Lens, and overall, I am very impressed. This lens is compatible with Canons mirrorless cameras, such as the EOS RP, EOS R, EOS R5, and EOS R6. It features a wide angle to portrait length zoom and offers a bright f/2.8 aperture.

The first thing that stands out about this lens is its high image quality. With a 70 millimetres focal length and the ability to capture detailed images even in low light conditions, this lens is ideal for photographers who want to take their photography to the next level. The lens also has optical image stabilization of up to 5 Stops of shake correction which helps reduce blurriness when shooting at slower shutter speeds or in low light conditions.

One of the other great features of this lens is its high speed autofocus with Nano USM technology. This allows for smooth and quiet focusing when capturing stills or video footage. Additionally, it has a minimum focusing distance of 0.69 ft by 0.21m wide and 1.25 ft by 0.38m telephoto which allows photographers to capture details up close.

The last feature that I particularly liked about this lens was its control ring for direct setting changes which makes adjusting settings during a shoot much easier than having to scroll through menus on the camera body itself.

Overall, I would highly recommend this lens for any photographer who wants to take their photos or videos to the next level and add more depth and detail to their shots. It offers high quality images in both bright light conditions as well as low light situations and its autofocus capabilities make it easy to capture scenes quickly and efficiently without having to worry about blurry images due to slow shutter speeds or camera shake. Additionally, its control ring makes it easy for users to adjust settings on the fly without having to go through menus on the camera body itself which is very useful in fast paced shooting situations.
