Product Overview

I recently had the opportunity to review the Celestron PowerSeeker 127EQ Telescope. After spending a considerable amount of time using this product, I can confidently say that it is an excellent entry level telescope for beginner astronomers.

The Celestron PowerSeeker 127EQ Telescope comes with a manual German equatorial mount that makes navigating the night sky easy and accurate. The mount has a slow motion altitude rod for smooth and precise pointing, and it allows you to adjust the rod to your desired position before quickly securing it with a cross knob.

The telescope itself is compact and lightweight, making it very portable. In fact, I was able to take it camping with me, which was great for stargazing in darker skies than what I m used to at home. It also comes with two eyepieces 20mm and 4mm plus a 3x Barlow lens that triples the power of each eyepiece. As an added bonus, you also get access to unlimited technical support from Celestron s team of US based experts as well as a free download of the Starry Night Astronomy Software Package.

In terms of durability, I found that the Celestron PowerSeeker 127EQ Telescope was more than capable of holding up to normal use and wear and tear. The quality of materials used in its construction is clearly superior and will last for years if properly taken care of. Additionally, I found instructions for using this telescope to be clear and easy to follow, even for beginners like myself.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Celestron PowerSeeker 127EQ Telescope for anyone looking for an entry level telescope that offers great value. It is well constructed, easy to assemble and use, and comes with all the necessary accessories you need to start exploring the night sky right away. Whether you are just starting out or already have some experience with astronomy, this telescope is truly worth considering.
