Fast Low Level 9ppm Alarm Carbon Monoxide CO Detector Review

The detector is very easy to use all you have to do is press the button on top of the device to activate it. The bright red LED will flash when it detects high levels of carbon monoxide in the environment. The device itself is quite small, weighing in at just 2 ounces with dimensions of 2.7 x 1.9 x 0.8 inches, making it easy to store away or mount to a wall using its 3M adhesive backing. Additionally, it can operate continuously for 8 12 months using the same batteries that come included in the package.

I found this detector to be particularly useful for identifying exhaust leaks in vehicles like SUVs, aircrafts, school buses and trucks since high levels of carbon monoxide can cause headaches, nausea and driver fatigue if not detected quickly. In comparison to other home detectors that only alarm above 70ppm after 60 240 minutes, this detector alarms at 9ppm within 60 seconds providing much faster detection times.
