The box is made with heavy duty reinforced polypropylene material which is resistant to rain, snow, water, dust, dirt and more. It s also IP54 waterproof thanks to the four clips, top lid, and rubber gaskets that come included with the box. It s designed to seal 12/14/16 gauge cords and both braided cables and flat wires.

I found the installation process very easy all I had to do was place my electrical connections into the safety seal enclosure and clip them with the clamps provided. The dual mounting holes make it easy to hang on any wall as well.
