KAIWEETS HT206D Digital Clamp Meter T RMS Review

I recently purchased the KAIWEETS HT206D Digital Clamp Meter T RMS, and I have to say that it has been a great addition to my toolkit. This multimeter is designed to accurately measure AC/DC current, AC/DC voltage, frequency or duty cycle, resistance, capacitance and also provides diode, continuity and temperature tests. It also boasts a True RMS feature for accurate measurements on non linear loads.

The HT206D Digital Clamp Meter is easy to use and has a two color backlit LCD display which makes it easy to read in low light conditions. It also has a LowZ LPF feature that helps prevent false readings due to ghost voltage and a low pass filter LPF for accurate measurement of variable frequency drive signals when measuring motors and transformers. Additionally, it features an NCV Detection Function which allows you to check the electrical status through measuring EM field intensity without touching any wires the NCV button lies on the right side of the meter.

The meter comes with a temperature measurement function for liquids and air conditioning ports included K Type thermocouple and LED flashlight. The meter features a low battery indication as well as an auto power off after 15 minutes of inactivity which helps preserve battery life. The HT206D Digital Clamp Meter is designed with safety in mind it meets the safety standard IEC 61010 1 and cat III 600V with double insulation, so you can rest assured that your device is safe to use.
