I recently had the pleasure of testing out the KastKing Brutus Spinning Reel for a few weeks and I have to say that I was very impressed with this low priced product. It was lightweight, easy to cast, and had features that you would expect from a more expensive reel.

The reel also features angler proven components such as a zinc alloy main gear, brass pinion gear, steel main shaft, and four ball bearings that are positioned in the most important performance locations. There is also an instant anti reverse bearing for quick hook sets.
When it comes to performance, the KastKing Brutus spinning reel delivers exceptionally smooth operation thanks to its infinitely adjustable multi disc drag system that delivers up to 17.5 pounds of run stopping drag power.
