Klein Tools CL320KIT HVAC Testing Kit Review

I recently had the opportunity to use the Klein Tools CL320KIT HVAC Testing Kit, and I can confidently say that it is a great tool for any HVAC professional. The kit comes with three essential testers an HVAC Digital Clamp Meter, Dual IR/Probe Thermometer, and Dual Range Non Contact Voltage Tester with Flashlight all of which are well made and easy to use.

The first tester in the kit is the HVAC Digital Clamp Meter. This device uses TRMS technology to measure AC current, NCVT, AC/DC voltage, resistance, frequency, DC microamps, capacitance, duty cycle, diode test, continuity, and temperature accurately and quickly. It has a large LCD backlit display for easy readability. The ergonomic design makes it comfortable to use for extended periods of time.

The second tester in the kit is the Dual IR/Probe Thermometer. This thermometer measures temperatures from 40 to 572 Degrees Fahrenheit 40 to 300 Degrees Celsius and can measure surface temperature with its Infrared Thermometer featuring an 8:1 DS ratio. Additionally it can measure air vents and duct temperature using its temperature probe with hands free hanging hook. It also features a differential temperature T1 T2 calculation for both IR and probe temperatures.

The third tester in the kit is the Dual Range Non Contact Voltage Tester with Flashlight. This device detects from 12 to 1000 V AC or 70 to 1000V AC for a broad variety of low voltage or standard voltage applications. It also features an LED flashlight for convenient illumination in dark workspaces.

Overall I found this kit to be very useful in my work as an HVAC professional. The tools are well made and reliable they have allowed me to complete my tasks quickly and accurately. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone who needs a reliable set of testers for their HVAC work!
