I recently tried the Laura Geller New York Baked Balance N Brighten Color Correcting Powder Foundation, and I must say that it has made a great impact on my makeup routine. This foundation is an award winning product that is handmade in Italy and it consists of pressed powders which help to create a perfect canvas for a natural, demi matte finish. The color I got was 04 Medium, which is perfect for medium skin tones with neutral undertones.

The great thing about this foundation is that it self adjusts to match your skin tone. It nourishes the skin while it perfects it with creamy coverage that is packed with antioxidants Centella Asiatica and White Tea Extracts for soothing hydration all day long. It works great on mature skin, uneven complexions, and those with fine lines and wrinkles. The light and airy baked powder foundation gives you a flawless face without feeling or looking cakey and heavy.

To apply, I used the Retractable Kabuki Brush included in the package. For light coverage, I swirled the brush with the sleeve pushed all the way down in the foundation powder then stroke on my face blending outward and upward. To build more coverage, I applied with the protective sleeve pulled almost all the way up. Swirling in the foundation powder then stroking on my face blending outward and upward gave me fuller coverage.

I am really impressed by this product as it did not cake or feel heavy on my face at all. It felt really lightweight but still provided full coverage to even out my skin tone without making me look too made up. My skin felt very moisturized after application as well! With this product, a little goes a long way so you wont need to use a lot of product each time you apply it. The price tag may seem steep but considering its quality and performance, it is certainly worth every penny!
