I recently purchased the LEGO Creator Expert Volkswagen T1 Camper Van 10220 set and have been very impressed with it. Im a huge fan of LEGO and this set has definitely exceeded my expectations.
The Volkswagen T1 Camper Van is an iconic vehicle from the 1960s that has been recreated in stunning detail by LEGO. The set includes 1334 pieces, which is a significant amount for a LEGO set. It took me about 5 hours to build the entire set, but it was well worth it as the finished product is incredible!
The attention to detail on this set is remarkable. Every piece looks like it was crafted with precision and care. The V shaped color split, splittie safari windshield, pop up roof, textile curtains, boxer engine, wing mirrors and folding furniture are all incredibly detailed and add to the charm of the van.
This particular set is designed for teens and adults aged 16 . It s suitable for skilled builders who want a challenging build that will result in a beautiful replica of the classic VW camper van. However, I think it s also great for younger kids too as they can help out with some of the simpler parts of the build process.
In terms of value for money, I think this set is definitely worth it if you re looking for a challenging building project that results in a stunning replica of this classic vehicle. The parts are high quality and there are plenty of them so you won t run out quickly when building your model.
