LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Millennium Falcon Review

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Millennium Falcon. For those familiar with the iconic ship from the movies, this set is a must have for any Star Wars fan. This set is not just for Star Wars fans though It s also a great way to teach creative thinking and engineering skills to kids. This set contains 7,541 pieces and includes two crews of minifigures: 4 classic crew members Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and C 3PO , plus 3 Episode VII/VIII crew minifigures Older Han Solo, Rey and Finn . The main hold features a seating area, Dejarik holographic game, combat remote training helmet and engineering station with turning minifigure seat.

The exterior of this set is extremely detailed. It includes removable hull panels, lowering boarding ramp, concealed blaster cannon and 4 minifigure cockpit with detachable canopy. It also has interchangeable round/rectangular sensor dishes that can be moved around to make it look more realistic. Additionally, builders can slide the panel to reveal the concealed blaster cannon and turn classic Leia s and Han s head to reveal their breathing mask decorations. The size of this set is quite impressive too it measures over 8 inches 21cm high, 33 inches 84cm long and 22 inches 56cm wide.

This set was designed for those aged 16 years old or above but I feel like younger children could also have fun with it if supervised by an adult as there are lots of small pieces that could pose a choking hazard for younger children. The instructions booklet is very easy to follow so anyone with basic engineering knowledge should be able to put this together without any issues. The only thing I would suggest is that you take your time when building this as there are lots of intricate parts that need to be placed correctly in order for the model to work properly.

Overall, I have been very impressed by my experience with the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Millennium Falcon. It was enjoyable to build and looks amazing when finished. I would highly recommend this set to any Star Wars fan or anyone looking for an intricate building project challenge. Not only will you have fun building it but you can also display it proudly in your home or office as a collectible item when done!
