I recently had the opportunity to review the LeapFrog LeapReader System Learn to Read 10 Book Mega Pack Teal Online Exclusive. This system has been designed to help children learn to read with confidence by sounding out letters and words in interactive stories and activities. As a parent of two young children, I was eager to try out this product and see if it lived up to its promise.

The LeapReader system includes the LeapReader system itself, a built in rechargeable battery, ten Learn to Read books, and a downloadable digital content bundle. The teal LeapReader pen works with all LeapReader books and most Tag books. It is recommended for children ages four to seven years old.

My experience with the LeapReader system was positive overall. The color scheme of the product was attractive, with an eye catching teal shade that caught my child s attention immediately. The design of the pen and books is also quite intuitive my child was able to pick up how to use them quickly and without any instruction from me.

The sound quality was excellent clear audio accompanied each page as my child worked through the books, helping her focus on each word as she read it. I especially appreciated the fact that each book comes with instruction cards that provide helpful guidance for parents on how best to use the book with their child.

The ten books included in this set are full of engaging stories featuring fun characters that my child enjoyed reading about. From classic fairytales like Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk to original stories featuring animals or robots, there is something for nearly every type of reader in this set. Each story also has accompanying activities such as coloring pages or puzzles which helps reinforce key concepts like long and short vowel sounds, sight words, word blending, spelling skills, and more.
