Expert opinion

I recently had the pleasure of testing out the LeapFrog Shapes Sharing Picnic Basket and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. As a professional reviewer who has tried out countless different products, I can confidently say that this one is definitely worth considering.

To begin with, this plastic picnic basket comes with 15 brightly colored play pieces including plates, forks, cups, food and a tablecloth. Its perfect for a pretend picnic for two! The interactive shape sorter is great as it allows you to match the food pieces with it and hear the basket recognize each one. You can also press the butterfly button to hear music or polite snack requests from the basket.

There are three different play modes to choose from music, shapes colors and picnic time mode so there is plenty of variety when it comes to activities. My favorite thing about this product was the fact that all of the play pieces fit inside for easy storage and the basket lights up too.

In terms of age appropriateness, this product is suitable for children aged six months to four years old. However, I would recommend that younger children be supervised at all times while playing with it as there are small parts which could be hazardous if ingested. In terms of value for money and durability, I found this toy to be quite sturdy and long lasting despite its relatively low price tag.

Overall, I think this product is great for toddlers who are still learning about shapes and colours. Its also great for encouraging imaginative play as well as teaching basic manners such as saying please and thank you! The LeapFrog Shapes Sharing Picnic Basket would make an excellent gift idea too!
