The monitor offers ultimate peace of mind for parents, allowing them to rest easy knowing that their babys abdominal movements are being monitored. Unlike other baby monitors, the Levana Oma Sense does not require skin contact which is a major bonus for me as I like to keep my babys skin as natural and healthy as possible.

The monitor features patented Wakeup Technology which continuously monitors abdominal movement and alerts parents if no abdominal movement is detected. If there is no abdominal movement detected after 15 seconds, a randomized series of vibrations will initiate to gently rouse your little one and stimulate normal movement to resume. And if abdominal movement is not re established after 5 seconds, the monitor will initiate an audible emergency alarm to alert parents and caregivers so they can act quickly.

Additionally, there is a flashing blue light on the monitor which reassures that everything is as it should be so everyone can rest easy. I found this feature especially reassuring as it takes away that urge to check on your little one throughout the night.
