Lixit Bracket Mount and Stake Retractable Leash Tie Outs for Dogs Stake, Medium Review

I recently purchased the Lixit Bracket Mount and Stake Retractable Leash Tie Outs for Dogs Stake, Medium. I wanted something that would provide my pup with the freedom to roam around without having to worry about him getting tangled in his leash. The Lixit Retractable Dog Tie Out does just that.

The tie out housing rotates 360 degrees and has a 20 foot braided and coated steel cable giving my pup 1,256 square feet of room to explore. The medium size is recommended for dogs between 25 and 80 pounds which was perfect for my pup as he is right in the middle of that range. It also comes with a long heavy duty steel stake that drives into the ground to secure it so I can rest assured knowing that he wont be able to pull it out of the ground or escape from it.

The tie out reel features a reflective sticker which helps keep owners from tripping on it at night, which is very nice when you have a curious pup who likes to roam around in the dark. Additionally, the retractable cable leash automatically rolls up into the housing when not in use making it easy to store away when not needed. The handle on top has a comfortable grip and makes it easy to transport if needed.

Overall, I am very happy with this product and would highly recommend it to any pet owner looking for an innovative way to give their dog some freedom without worrying about them getting tangled up or escaping from their leash. It is sturdy, easy to use, and provides ample room for your dog to explore and play without having to worry about them getting into trouble or becoming tangled up in their leash.
