I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Luminara Moving Flame LED Tapers 1x6 inch Flat Top Smooth Real Wax. These tapers come in a set of two and are made with real paraffin wax, making them look and feel like traditional candles. I was really impressed with how realistic they looked, and even more impressed by their safety features.

The tapers have a warm yellow flame that flickers and illuminates your table settings. It looks incredibly realistic, so much so that it was difficult to tell the difference between these and real candles. The light is a warm white color encased in a yellow flame designed to be as realistic as possible. When you turn on the candle, it automatically flickers, increasing the realism even more.

These tapers are safer than traditional candles since no actual combustion or wax consumption happens. This means no soot or chemicals are released into the air, making them perfect for use indoors. Theyre perfect for households with small children and rambunctious pets because there is no risk of fire or burns.

The tapers take 1 AA battery and provide around 100 hours of runtime. They also have a timer function where they will turn on for 5 hours then automatically shut off for 19 hours.
