This battery is part of Makita s Star Protection line, which means that it is designed to work with all of Makita s Star Protection tools. The battery packs a lot of power, providing up to 2x more run time per charge than the comparable BL1830 model. Additionally, it charges quickly, reaching full charge in just 55 minutes or less.
The Makita BL1860B 2 comes with an integrated L.E.D. battery charge level indicator that allows users to monitor their battery charge at all times. This makes it easy to know when you need to replace or recharge your batteries so you never get caught without power when you need it most. Additionally, this battery is designed for use in extreme temperatures even as low as 4 F/ 20 C so you won t have to worry about running out of power during wintertime projects either.
The only downside to this product is that it can only be used with Star Protection tools from Makita, which limits its versatility a bit compared to other models on the market. However, if you are a fan of Makita products and already own some Star Protection tools, then this battery is an excellent choice for powering them. It offers reliable performance and plenty of power for most needs and it is surprisingly affordable given its features and capabilities.
