Mongoose Legion Freestyle Youth BMX Bike Review

I recently had the opportunity to review the Mongoose Legion Freestyle Youth BMX Bike. After spending a few days with this bike I can confidently say that it is an excellent choice for any aspiring BMX rider. The bike is well constructed, lightweight and feature packed, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to get into BMX riding.

The Legion L60 features a Hi Ten steel frame with removable brake mounts and mid BB shell, making it incredibly strong and durable. With 20 wheels, the bike is perfect for riders between 5 0 and 5 6 tall. The drivetrain features 175mm 3 piece tubular chromo hollow spindle cranks with a 25T steel chain ring and mid sealed bearing bottom bracket. The wheelset comes with 20 x 2.3 tires mounted on aluminum single wall 36H rims with 3/8 female axle front hub and 9T cog sealed bearing cassette rear hub.

The bike also features an aluminum U brake and brake levers for precision speed control, as well as Hi Ten steel handlebar and fork joined by a 50mm stem and threadless sealed integrated headset for maximum steering performance. All of these components combine to make the Mongoose Legion Freestyle Youth BMX Bike one of the most capable freestyle bikes on the market today.

The Mongoose Legion Freestyle Youth BMX Bike is designed for unisex adults, though I found the bike to be suitable for any aspiring rider who wants to take their skill set up a notch or two.
