NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Butter Gloss Non Sticky Lip Gloss Review

I recently had the pleasure of trying out NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Butter Gloss Non Sticky Lip Gloss in the shade 54 Sugar Glass. As an avid makeup enthusiast, Im always looking for quality products that wont break the bank. When it comes to lip gloss, Im particularly picky because I want something thats not overly sticky and has a nice shine without being too glossy. The NYX Butter Gloss definitely fit the bill!

The first thing I noticed when I opened the tube was the smell. It had a sweet, almost candy like scent that wasnt overpowering or artificial smelling which is great if youre sensitive to fragrances. The texture was also really nice it was creamy and smooth and glided on without any tugging or pulling. The formula was also surprisingly non sticky despite its glossy finish, so it felt really comfortable to wear on my lips all day long.

When it came to coverage, I found this gloss to be quite sheer but buildable, so you can layer it up for more intense color payoff if desired. It also had a good amount of pigment which I liked because sometimes sheer glosses can look a bit faded or washed out on my lips but this one gave me just enough color to make them look juicy and vibrant. The staying power was impressive too it lasted around four hours before needing to be reapplied which is great for a lip gloss!

Im also pleased to say that this product is certified cruelty free by PETA which is important to me as an animal lover. Not only does this mean that no animals were harmed in the making of this product, but it also means that you can feel good about using it knowing that your purchase isnt supporting any kind of animal testing practices.

Its an affordable yet high quality product that delivers sheer yet buildable coverage with a glossy finish while still managing to be non sticky and comfortable on the lips all without breaking the bank!
