Expert opinion

I recently had the pleasure of testing out the Occer Portable Telescope for Beginners. This powerful scope offers an easy to use and compact design, with a range of features that make it perfect for both amateur astronomers and those just getting into the hobby. This telescope is a great choice for anyone looking to explore the night sky and get an up close view of stars, planets, and more. First off, I was immediately impressed by the quality of optics on this telescope. With a 70mm objective lens and fully multi coated prism, this telescope provides an incredibly sharp image with plenty of contrast. I also really appreciated the focus type, which is manual but not overly complicated or difficult to use. You can easily adjust the focus with just a few turns of a knob.

I also found that this telescope was incredibly easy to set up and use. There are detailed assembly instructions included, so even if you ve never used a telescope before you can get started quickly. The tripod is adjustable from 16.5 to 49.6 inches, so it s perfect for both adults and children alike. Additionally, it comes with a wireless camera remote that makes it very easy to take photos or videos through the scope without having to fuss with cables or wires.

Beyond that, I was pleasantly surprised by all of the accessories included in this package. It comes with two eyepieces 20mm and 6mm , as well as a 3x Barlow lens that allows you to increase your magnification up to three times when needed. It also comes with a moon filter which helps reduce eye strain when viewing celestial bodies at night and improves contrast in your images. Additionally, there s a universal phone holder so you can easily attach your phone directly to the scope for taking photos or videos through the eyepiece without any extra equipment or adapters needed.

Overall, I highly recommend this Occer Portable Telescope for Beginners as an excellent choice for anyone looking to get started in astronomy or just wanting an easy way to explore the night sky from their own backyard. It s easy to use and comes with everything you need right out of the box plus plenty of additional features like adjustable tripod height, moon filter, universal phone holder adapter, etc., making it perfect for both beginner astronomers and experienced observers alike.
