It features a total magnification of 40X, 80X, 100X, 200X, 400X, 800X, 1000X, and 2000X along with wide field WF10X and WF20X eyepieces and Achromatic DIN 4X, 10X, 40X S , 100X S objectives with oil. The revolving quadruple nosepiece allows for easy switching between objectives while the double layer X Y mechanical stage with scales size: 4 1/2inchx 4 15/16inch 115mm x 125mm ensures maximum accuracy when sighting specimens. The stage also has an upward moving lock that protects the objectives and slides.

The illumination of the OMAX Lab LED Binocular Compound Microscope is handled by a transmitted lower LED light that can be adjusted in intensity via the NA1.25 Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm. The focus is handled by two coaxial coarse and fine knobs on both sides of the microscope which can be easily adjusted for optimal viewing.
