Panasonic LUMIX G85 4K Digital Camera, DMC-G85MK Black Review

As a professional photographer, I have had the opportunity to use a variety of products and technology. One of those products that I recently had the chance to try out is the Panasonic Lumix G85 4K Digital Camera. This camera was designed with the modern hybrid photography performance of a mirrorless camera in mind, yet it still manages to have nearly half the bulk of most DSLRs. In this review, I will outline my personal experience with this product and provide my opinion on its features and functionality.

One of the first things that impressed me about this camera is its Fine Detail Performance. It has a 16 megapixel micro four thirds sensor with no low pass filter, resulting in a near 10 percent boost in fine detail resolving power over existing 16 megapixel micro four thirds sensors. It also has a Color temperature setting from 2500 to 10000K in 100K increments.

The Lumix G85 also comes with a 12 60 millimeter lens which makes it easier for me to take lighter and faster shots than if I were using a traditional DSLR camera. Additionally, it houses an impressive class leading dual image stabilization feature that works both in photo and motion picture recording including 4K video to produce clear handheld shots even in low light conditions. The diopter adjustment ranges from 4.0 to 4.0 dpt .

The camera also features an integrated eye level OLED live viewfinder 2360K dots and rear touch enabled 3 inch LCD display 1040K dots . These displays adjust for optimal viewing angles to maximize viewing while shooting photos or videos. Furthermore, the camera offers 4K QFHD video recording 3840 x 2160 as well as exclusive Lumix 4K photo and 4K post focus so users can record photos up to 30fps and set desired focus points after each photo has been taken.

Overall, my experience with the Panasonic Lumix G85 4K Digital Camera was quite positive and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an advanced mirrorless camera option at an affordable price point.
