I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Centric Air Deluxe 6500 W Energy Efficient Whole House Fan R 5 Insulated Damper 2 Speed Wall Switch with Timer. I have used a few different whole house fans in the past, and this one was far and away the best.

This fan is incredibly energy efficient, costing just pennies an hour to operate. It s ideal for two story homes up to 4400 sqft and single story homes up to 3000 sqft. The fan delivers a powerful 6500 CFM 4478 HVI 916 CFM and requires about 5.5 square feet of attic ventilation. The QA Deluxe whole house fans consist of acoustical ducting, a precision spun aluminum fan housing, rigid support and mounting brackets with rubber bushings to reduce noise and vibration, a precision laser cut damper box with R5 insulation and heavy duty support brackets that keep the damper off the drywall. This makes it incredibly quiet I measured it at 51dB making it suitable for bedrooms as well as living rooms or any other space where loud noises would be unwelcome.

The installation process was also incredibly easy unlike other whole house fans, QA Deluxe whole house fans are designed engineered to fit between 16 24 inch on center joists, no framing is required. A vertical wall mount adapter is available upon request for an additional 49 so there s no need to worry about extra costs or time consuming installations.

In addition to all these features, this fan also comes with a 2 speed wall switch and timer which makes it perfect for people who want to save energy while still having full control over their home environment.
