RAPICCA Heat/Fire Resistant Leather Welding Gloves Review

I recently had the opportunity to try out the RAPICCA Heat/Fire Resistant Leather Welding Gloves, and I can honestly say that I am very impressed. These gloves are designed for extreme heat resistance and protection from a variety of hazards, and they really do deliver on that promise.

When it comes to heat resistance, these gloves are top notch. They feature a reinforced double layer of Kevlar padding on the fingers, palms, elbow and back, as well as a four layer heat resistant protection system made up of an outermost layer of double layered Kevlar padding leather, an intermediate layer of composite material with an air isolated aluminum foil, and an inner layer of soft insulated cotton lining. This all combines to create a glove that is rated to withstand temperatures up to 932 F 500 C , making it ideal for use in welding and other high temperature applications. Additionally, the gloves are oil resistant and puncture resistant for added durability.

When it comes to comfort, these gloves really excel as well. The shoulder split natural cowhide leather is 1.5mm thick which makes them both heat resistant and wear resistant while still remaining comfortable to wear. Additionally, they feature reinforced double leather stitching at stress points on the finger, palm, elbow and back for increased durability and strength. The 16 inch length provides ample coverage for your forearms while also allowing for full range of motion when working with tools or welding equipment.
