I recently had the opportunity to review the Rockville RBG10S subwoofer, and I was very impressed with the overall performance. This 10 inch woofer with a 70oz magnet and two voice coils delivers 300 watts RMS/600 watts program/1200 watts peak power. Its an ideal addition to any surround sound system or home entertainment setup.
The Rockville RBG10S has a wide frequency response of 55Hz 1800Hz, so it can handle low frequencies as well as high ones. It also features adjustable crossover control from 60Hz 800Hz, allowing you to customize the sound for your specific needs. The maximum SPL is 1w/1m at 110dB peak/105dB continuous, so you can really crank up the volume without worrying about distortion or excessive noise levels.
The subwoofer also comes with balanced XLR TRS input jacks and balanced XLR thru/output jacks for parallel connections. Plus, theres a built in limiter circuitry with LED indicator that detects when the signal is being overdriven to prevent clipping and distortion. This is great for protecting your speakers from damage due to excess volume levels.
