Product Overview
As a professional reviewer of products, I recently had the opportunity to try out and review the Uniden BCD436HP HomePatrol Series. After putting this product through its paces, I can say with confidence that it is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a handheld scanner. It offers a variety of features that make it easy to use and reliable, while providing users with a wide range of options.
The BCD436HP is the first scanner to incorporate the HomePatrol 1 ease of use in a traditional handheld scanner. With Unidens exclusive Close Call RF Capture feature, GPS Connectivity, Extra Large Display, Radio System Analysis and Discover Modes, users have access to some of the most advanced features ever available in a scanner.
The scanner is remarkably simple to operate without any programming needed. All you need to do is turn it on and enter your zip code the rest will be taken care of by TrunkTracker V. This user friendly digital scanner then immediately begins receiving communications from public safety, police, fire, EMS, ambulance, aircraft, military, weather and more. It also has an impressive scan speed of 85 channels per second made possible by combining data from Radio Reference with Unidens patented radio system selection methods so that only nearby systems in the USA/Canada are monitored.

Another great feature of this product is its Instant Replay functionality which allows users to play back up to four minutes 240 seconds of the most recent transmissions. Additionally, there are Custom Alerts which can be programmed to alert when you receive a Channel or Unit ID, a Close Call hit or an ID transmitted with an Emergency Alert or Tone out hit. For each alert in the scanner there are nine different tone patterns available along with 15 volume settings and seven colors as well as three flash patterns for extra customization options.
The Uniden BCD436HP HomePatrol Series is designed for both experienced and novice users who want an all in one solution for their scanning needs. Its ease of use combined with its robust features make it ideal for those who need reliable performance from their scanners while still having plenty of options available at their fingertips. Moreover, its battery life is also impressive at 8 hours so you wont have to worry about charging it too often either! This product comes highly recommended by me as an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable handheld scanner packed with features and convenience in one package.
