VTech SN5147 Amplified Corded/Cordless Senior Phone Review

I recently had the chance to review VTech SN5147 Amplified Corded/Cordless Senior Phone and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. This product is designed for seniors who need a phone that is easy to use and understand, yet still offers great features and sound quality.

The phone has a 50dB Audio Assist feature which increases overall volume by up to 50 dB and enhances sound frequencies that make speech easier to understand. This was a great feature as it made it much easier for my elderly parents to hear the phone ringing and the person on the other end of the line without having to strain their ears. It also has a 90dB ringer volume which makes it easy to hear incoming calls throughout your home.

In addition, this phone has a Smart Call blocker which eliminates unwanted calls such as robocalls. It can also permanently blacklist up to 1,000 numbers with one touch so you don t have to worry about being disturbed by nuisance calls. The photo dial feature lets you program eight frequently dialed numbers with photos so you can easily remember whose number is whose. Plus, the oversized buttons and large display make it simple and comfortable for anyone to use the phone.

Overall, I was very impressed with VTech SN5147 Amplified Corded/Cordless Senior Phone. It has all of the features that seniors need plus some extra ones that make their lives easier such as increased volume, call blocking, and photo dialing. I would definitely recommend this product for seniors who are looking for an affordable but reliable phone that is easy to use and understand.
