Winter Castle German Advent Calendar Review

I recently had the privilege of trying out the Richard Sellmer Verlag German Advent Calendar. As an avid fan of Christmas traditions, I was excited to try out this calendar and see if it lived up to the hype.

At first glance, I was very impressed with the products design. The detailed picture features 24 little doors to open, each with a little picture behind it. It was made in Germany by Richard Sellmer Verlag and is about 8.25 inches by 11.75 inches, so it is small enough to fit in any room or office space. It also has glitter accents for added fun and festive flair.

The tradition of the advent calendar dates back to 1851 in the Protestant parts of Germany, so I knew this would be a great way to bring some of that traditional spirit into my home. The tradition is to open one door each day from December 1st thru December 24th, so I started doing just that!

I loved opening a door each day as I counted down to Christmas and enjoyed seeing what picture was behind each door. The pictures ranged from Christmas trees to snowmen and everything in between! I also liked that this Paper Calendar does NOT come with Candy or Chocolate because my two year old son cant have sugar due to dietary restrictions.

Overall, I think this Richard Sellmer Verlag German Advent Calendar is perfect for anyone who loves Christmas traditions or wants to introduce them into their home or office space. This product is both fun and educational at the same time! It would make a great gift for children and adults alike something that can be enjoyed year after year.
