haakaa Colostrum Collector with Storage Case Set Review

I recently tried out the haakaa Colostrum Collector with Storage Case Set for harvesting, storing, and feeding colostrum to my newborn baby. I was really impressed with the quality and design of this product.

The colostrum collector is made from high grade silicone that is BPA, PVC and phthalate free, so you know its safe for your little one. The collector has a vacuum effect to collect droplets as well as a nib that suctions colostrum off the nipple and a syringe point that can be removed to express directly into the collector. It also has 4ml capacity with clear measurements, making it perfect for collecting just the right amount of colostrum in one go. Everything comes together in a clear PP storage case so you can easily store or transport your collected colostrum without worrying about spills or leaks.

Using this product was incredibly easy and convenient. All I had to do was attach the nib to my nipple and squeeze the collector until I felt the vacuum effect taking hold. Then I could remove it from my nipple and use the syringe or just squeeze it directly into my baby s mouth when feeding time came around. Clean up was also very simple since all I had to do was rinse it out with warm water after each use and store it away in its PP storage case ready for next time.

Overall I am really pleased with this product and would highly recommend it to any new mom looking for an easy way to collect, store, and feed their babys precious first milk colostrum! It is perfectly sized for collecting just the right amount of liquid gold in one go, plus its non toxic, safe for babies, heat freeze resistant, leak proof, reusable, easy to clean and use what more could you want?
